You might be right, but then again...Brunson seemed to be developing quickly as on off-ball threat there towards the very end, and literally ever since he left the team has been searching for a solution for the without Luka minutes, even when he's healthy.
Either way, as you say, he would've been a killer trade asset. Sigh.
