Opponents have shot 67% with Anthony Davis contesting the shot at the rim this season. Among 199 players, that ranks 187. The 188th player is Karl-Anthony Towns.
Rudy Gobert is at 45%. Gafford, Lively, Stewart, Mobley all in the top 20.
Holy shit. Well, i guess he's more of a stretch/helpside defender than guarding bigs in the paint.

@WillGuillory
Brandon Boston just went to the floor grabbing his right knee. He looked to be in pain ever since turning the ball over a few possessions ago. He's on the bench now being looked at by trainers.
@WillGuillory
Yves Missi also just went to the locker room. He came up limping a few possessions ago. Daniel Theis subbed in to take his place.

So uh, the Pelicans have to tank right? They are dropping like flies

Tank or not, they're going to lose a ton of games this year.
The first things I'd do are 1) hire a new training staff and 2) get out of the Zion Williamson business by any means necessary.

Sometimes you have to cut your losses, like we did with KP.

I wonder what value Zion has around the league. 2 years ago I'd have pegged it at multiple high quality 1sts and prospects.
Now...? Maybe 2 firsts and salary matching?

I see that point of view, but on the other hand, there comes a point when getting the guy around whom you’re building the team right is literally the only thing that matters. If you find yourself building around a guy you know isn’t the right guy, every second you spend before changing course is a waste of your time.
And, the other part of that equation is the possibility that a player like that might only decrease in value as he gets older.

Interested to see Memphis tonight. They have gotten off to a good start despite some injuries. Looking at their schedule though they haven't been beating a murderous row of opponents. They have been winning. Big game for Dallas for the tournament though.
Saw a little of the Lakers and Wolves last night. Lakers were on a back to back. Lebron looked really rough. The Lakers are better than last year but you just worry if Lebron and Davis can be healthy for a long season...and then have anything left at the end of the year.
Minny just looks a little off this year. They will need time to incorporate Randle and DDV. It is funny how things can change. Some were saying last year that they are set up for years with their squad. Now Conley looks old, Gobert has his warts and Randle looks like a one year rental.

Similar to Lakers and Suns. Hot starts, but the grandpas can´t sustain it. These guys are simply in the wrong conference. They´d basically have to be on a 55-60 games limit with modest minutes and cruise into the play-offs at 36-46. Can´t do that in the West. It´s why I expect the Kings and Wolves to chase them down.

Green may be out for a while?

After a relatively easy schedule to start off, they are starting to run into the wood chipper that is the western conference.
PHX, DEN and OKC were their last 3 games in a row. They dropped 2 “easy” ones against Brooklyn and the Spurs.
Also Buddy has come cratering back down to earth after looking like prime Curry for the first 2 1/2 weeks of the season. Add in Meltons injury and I can see why the Warriors are lagging all of a sudden.
They still have surprised me a lot. I think they are real playoff threat where before the season I had them as barely a play-in team.

I don't think he has ever been available, and isn't likely to be soon. They drafted him, have always like him, his role has increased at a reasonable rate for a young player and now he's got a big, juicy role in a system that's working, partly because of his contributions. And, judging by the demeanor of their coach and the rest of their roster, I don't really see this incident being something that prompts them to want rid of him. Maybe another team would feel that way, but I don't get that vibe from the current Houston team.

Gawd do I wish. Dude is going to be a top 20 2way player. Perfect for the Mavs.

What the hell has happened to Indiana? They don't look like the same team that went to the ECF last year.

Yeah Amen and Eason aren’t going anywhere. And you can bet that weasel Pat Riley has tried to get them both in a deal for Butler who is a pain in the ass, wants his last payday and is one more injury from being nearly washed.
