Brunson finished with a Knicks playoff record 47 pts and 10 assists in a 97-92 win over the Sixers to go up 3-1 in the series. He has turned into a pint- sized assassin.

I mentioned in an earlier post about hoping that the Amazon Prime deal would give me a good quality way to watch the Mavs game...and detailed all the damn reason why it is so hard to watch the Mavs, without resorting to some un-nameable websites.
Ah...but this game is on ABC, which is usually pretty reliable. I got a very sharp and crisp picture for nearly 2 hours--of weather radar detailing rain, thunderstorms, and a tornado watch. I am thrilled! Who wants to watch a playoff basketball game? Not me...
Yes...me. So...I resorted to one of those deep and dark, nefarious websites...and watched the game...once again. The rationale by all these sports channels and outlets mystifies me. It's not like I'm going to drive to Dallas to watch the game...

Anthony Edwards is unreal. He's the next coming of MJ, and I don't say that lightly. And Bradley Beal is overrated. This game is crazy. The Suns about to be swept.

Embiid is playing "Bully Ball" for sure. But the Knicks aren't intimidated. They're a tough, gritty team that could get to the conference finals.

Both are extremely unlikely, but what has the bigger chance of happening: Lebron signs in Dallas this summer or next or KD is traded to Dallas in 2/3 years?

Neither. KD is stuck in Phoenix and they don't have any resources left to improve the team—no 1st round picks until 2030, and 3 players that make 150 million between them, KD, Book, and Beal who has been a massive disappointment, and they are at the second apron for next season I believe. I highly doubt James leaves LA for anywhere else. His roots are there now, and his ring-chasing days are behind him. Hell, he might even retire, who knows.

The Lebron thing for sure.
PHX will try and trade KD for as much as they can as they don't have control of their own first till 2031. They are also totally swapped out.
Lebron will definitely bail on LA this summer. I can see him going to a team with Kyrie and has the ability to draft his son in the 2nd round.

In terms of assets for offseason moves, the Suns will have access on draft night to trade two first-round picks — No. 22 this year and one in 2031 — as well as holding a protected 2028 second-round pick from Boston.

That's news to me. I thought I read they didn't have any draft capital because of the Durant Beal deals. I guess I was misinformed.

OKC sweeps the Pelicans!
I wonder if the series would have been tighter if Zion had played

The real question you got to be asking is why would the Suns trade any picks at all when they are bereft of depth and are currently a borderline play-in team that got swept?
They need cheap contracts and young talent. That's what the draft is for. There is no way they're going to trade those picks imo. I think it's more likely they send Durant off for a package of picks so they can build on the fly with Beal+Booker (only because Beal has a NTC).

Marginal contact...meaning that the refs don't want to call a foul for whatever reason.

Lakers eliminated. 27-9 FTA not enough to win in Denver. Murray with another game winner.

Honestly would be one of the best first rounds I remember if it wasn't for the never ending referee/officiating disaster. Something needs to be done. External evaluation and full transparency. If the league can track screen assist and miles covered in a game they can also offer stats for the refs and tracking for calls.
