He IS a usable NBA player who WILL be sought after going into his second contract. Highly sought after. That isn't a "blown off" pick. That's a successful pick.

I'm only sliiiiightly trying to pull your leg. I largely agree with you. Their drafting since 2018 has been pretty stellar. Heck even DSJ wasn't that bad of a pick given the context it was made in.

I don't believe he will translate at all in the big leagues. He looked lost at times in college. He literally couldn't score, nor had any pet moves to allow him to score. I fear he will literally rely on Luka to feed him everything much like Powell. Sure his rim protection was solid, above average even, but his foul rate was at a pace that he'd foul out every game if he played enough minutes.

He's a dimensionless player that is 1-2 years away from being 1-2 years away. I don't think that is worth a 10th pick.
