Will they? They could barely tank last year. They would have finished in the play-in, if they tried.

CAM WAS RIGHT THERE?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I am not a fan of Lively, although one can't fault the Mavs for getting off of Bertans essentially for free. But damn do I hate the pick.
It is pick #17 and he is still not picked. That has happened for a reason, right?

I think I saw a headline that Kuzma was looking for $30m / yr.

Last time someone had this free fall was MPJ in 2018, due to medicals.
Worked well for Denver tbh

This draft is crazy deep. Bilas said 40 1st round grades, I’m imaging the deepest draft in history. It would be nice if the Mavs could pick up one more player. This draft will define this era of basketball. There will be an unprecedented number of starters from this group.

Yeah that only happens in Houston or San Antonio, so not at all. Or he returns to Washington. They got to pay somebody.

Mavs the only ones trading so far.
Not counting Indy-Was swap, that was just an extortion from Indy

Apparently his medicals are causing his drop.
Unless his leg is literally falling off there isn't a reason why we shoulda taken Lively over Cam.
My only hope is that he continues to drop that the Mavs can leverage the TPE to nab him.

Kuzma opted out of the Poole party and isn't invited back in.

I like the thinking guys. Some good names. Wiseman and their second round pick? Jonathan Isaac and pick 36? Rob Williams?

Remember, doesn’t necessarily have to fit the TPE. $21.35mm trade match at 25% or $18.8mm trade match in July depending on which team you are dealing with.

I wonder wtf that was about. I mean why did Washington panic there? Like Carlisle picks a project. He´d always take Black or Walker.

Knowing nothing about college hoops, Lively seems like a polarizing pick for this board.

Forgot about that. My rage over passing Cam or even Dick has me not thinking straight.

Good kid. Good physical tools. Position of need. Big time college program. Inconsistent production in college. Raw
Seems like a Josh Green pick.

It's kinda like the NBA, but younger and not as good.
