Very good players, you can call them superstars. Deadly when they are on, but they can't control their on/off switch, so they are not consistent. Which puts them a tier below the true MVP-level stars like Jokic, LeBron, Luka, Giannis, Kawhi This, please tell me if you switch Luka out with Tatum that he wouldn’t have multiple championships right now and be in the finals going for another.

Did you miss the beginning of the game?

I would have felt more comfortable with statements like this if we didn't just see Luka miss the playoff in an era where the West is kind of meh and the play-in exists.
Plenty of excuses but he has a ton of explaining to do

While I think that's a fair point, Luka took a team that had a tenth of the talent to the WCF.
Give him Smart, Brown, Horford, White, etc. and I think he's already made 1-2 Finals with a ring already.
But it's also unfair because the Celtics have been incredibly lucky. Mavs need some of that luck.

The Celtics will look back on these last two years and wonder "what if". They have a good case to think they were the best team both years. Although this Denver's team may have different thoughts. I expect they will bring Jaylon back next year and still be one of the favorites next year. But I would expect some changes. I am just not sure what. From a distance, there teams works and fits together. They are a deep team and one built the way most teams want to build their rosters. They have enough on that roster to win a championship. They just haven't yet. Do they keep trying with their current squad or look for a move to mix things up.
On a separate note, I like Grant Williams. I am not sure i like him at 18 million, but I think he gets some undue hate from Boston fans. He is limited but I think he does more good things than bad things.

If Luka had that cast, he would have multiple championships. Boston has definitely underachieved for their talent level. They should have at least one chip with that roster. After Brown's payday, they won't be getting back to this level again.

It also shows me how hard winning a championship is and how sometimes a wrong bounce can be the difference. The last few years they have added Horford, White and Brogdon...all solid moves to an already solid team.

If they're dumb enough to hire Rivers next year, that will make the playoffs easier for the rest of the West. Do it!!!

Bill Simmons said they're going to hire Kevin Young.
Getting Vogel would be pretty nice.

I believe Zach Lowe speculated that Draymond being somewhere else next year would increase if Meyers left GS. He thought the trust they have developed over years would make it easier to have the hard conversations. Bringing in a new voice could complicate things when there is limited history there. I sounds like Dunleavy Jr and the son of the owner may take over. They may be prime for a smart franchise to take advantage of a little.
My prediction is with Kerr saying they are not a championship team without Draymond that the new GM will find a way to keep him whether that is the right move longterm or not. So my prediction is Poole and Kuminga are moved.

With his contract expiring, Knicks GM Scott Perry had been exploring his options outside of New York. Now, he and the Knicks are parting ways, leaving void at GM as New York prepares for the offseason: https://t.co/MXOan9uebj

There's speculation that William "Worldwide Wes" Wesley will get the position.

I've always said, Hakeem was better than Shaq as well.

Not sure if I agree with Horry here. Timmy is definitely the best out of the bunch.
Hakeem vs. Shaq is interesting. I'm leaning slightly toward Hakeem as well, but if someone said Shaq I couldn't tell them they were wrong.

Well...since he played with all three, I can respect his opinion. It's HIS.

Monte Williams is a done deal. That's a lot of cheese he's getting.
