There is a GREAT chance we’re done Imo. MacMahon brought up the possibility of the TE being kept into the season or even next year on yesterday’s Lowe podcast.
Luka | Brunson | Burke
THjr | Sterling | Terry
DFS | Bullock | Green
KP | Kleber
DP | WCS | Bobi| Moses
2 way: Hinton + one of the summer league guys
Moses is probably the first guy to get cut if a roster spot is needed.

For the cap/CBA experts.
Current situation: Lack of roster spots in an over the cap situation with an unbalanced roster. As far as I know the Mavs can simply waive Moses Brown. What would happen if the Mavs do the same with some of the end of the bench vets (thinking about Burke). Any punishment (hard cap or something similar)?

Goodness gracious. No new playmaker, no frontcourt improvement. Epic fail if true. I have to believe you're wrong.

I agree this is how things would look (would flip DP and KP on defense, obviously) IF they’re done, though I’d feel better if either Boban or Moses was a forward.
But, there will be an even bigger s-storm around here if this is the case. People’s (somewhat irrational) dislike of Powell is rivaled by no other player, and I swear this plan depends on Burke in a much higher role than last year.

Guard - S Brown replaces J Richardson
Wing - R Bullock replaces JJ Redick
Big - M Brown replaces N Melli
There sure is a whole lot of "roll the same thing back out there and try again" in that "new" roster, isn't there?!

I am going back to the one thing that Cuban repeated all summer long. The need for another playmaker. This cannot be it. I don´t want to believe it.

That was the Lowry push. They pivoted.

They pivoted to NOTHING....yeah, that works.
I'll enjoy Luka in Dallas for the next 4 years, because then, it is over.

I wonder if the Mavs have another place they can trade DP.
I think he might be the rim running starting C (at least on offense) alongside KP.
Maxi off the bench alongside WCS/Boban.

But it’s needed. We saw poor Luka absolutely exhausted in the 4th quarter and how bad we were with him off the floor. If they don’t get someone else to share the ball handling duties, he will be done before the playoffs start.

I thought they had plan 1-30 and even more options coming up.

Dwight Powell was penciled in as the starting big man before his achilles injury. He’s healthy now. They signed him to pair up with KP.
I think the answer is right in front of us here.
We all know about the strong lineup data on the KP/DP duo from the 2019-2020 season.
