Man, getting Paul George when you happen to be the only contender with max space and his old team kind of misreads their relationship with him is one thing...there's a little luck involved with that. But everything Philly has done to build on top of that is pretty great, imo. Nifty to get Oubre back, then Martin, which was a big surprise, and now this is a pretty damn good minimum signing for them. I hate Drummond with the fire of a thousand suns, but even that's a pretty good score to backup Embiid, I can admit.

Just looked at their depth chart. They kinda have to go all in even though Embiid continues to come up short because he cannot stay healthy but I am not sure if signing all the geriatric talent in the league is the best choice. If we ignore 2nd round picks or two-way contracts Maxey is the only young player on the roster.
Not sure if they even have a one year window.

They had a nice draft too.  McCain has some Brunson in him.  Not saying he will ever reach that level but he is a winner and knows how to play.  Does a lot of little things a lot of people miss.  Bona is going to need time but I think he has a long career in the nba.

Health and playing big when is matter will tell the whole story about them.  Boston’s core 4 will make winning plays late.  Do you have the same confidence for Embid and George to match them?

You have to admit Darryl Morey finds a way. They've gotten better to me. Geriatric talent is experience to me. Watch how much better the Spurs will be with CP and Barnes. Not championship worthy, but they'll be better. Is what Philly has done enough to challenge Boston and NY? We'll see..

health is a bigger concern for Boston core four imho, when a quarter of it is made of glass. Philly would match up well against Boston and i agree going big would be the key for Philly. post D remains the weakest link in Boston and Philly have all the resources to exploit the shit out of that tbh.

Made of glass? Which one of Tatum, Brown, White and Jrue?

The only glassmaker on the C's is Porzingis.
