I agree but...

I think Booker will be the new Beal.  He'll be happy getting max contracts every few years and playing for a losing team.

With the Suns now having a glut of guards on the roster, I've seen a lot of people suggesting that Phoenix should waive and stretch Bradley Beal's contract.

They aren't allowed.

I explained the options Phoenix has with Beal for @spotrac back in April:

Awesome read, thanks!

That's a decent prediction. If he's not there now, he might very well be at the end of these next couple of seasons.

Luka really did end that franchise, didn't he?!

Finding a taker is tough since the Suns really can't sweeten the pot so most bottom feeders aren't going to be interested.  The Wizards might be an option for sentimental reasons and we did see a report of some interest there.  Making Beal miserable seems kind of messed up as he really hasn't done anything wrong.

I am really suprised they did not get Whitmore on the deal.   He seems like a guy they would have liked.  Now he would have been a real interesting lottery ticket.

I would think Whitmore, Eason, Shepherd. If i was a Suns fan, I would have wanted a combination of those young guys instead of Brooks. Which makes me think Brooks will be flipped.

But Houston did good holding on to all that young talent. They have a really solid roster. And i dont think they are done adding.
