Cooper coming back in and slamming it like that on a sore ankle gives me life.

Mavs win a "must lose" game for tanking purposes. Bummer.

Klay on a heater was too much for Martin to overcome.

Fun game. You look a lot better when you make your threes. Some of the veterans were good late, but spot players nemnhard and Cisse deserve some credit. Cisse is so raw but he plays so hard. Nemhbard just gets guys great looks.

Cooper is so good. Surround him with shooting and another great creator and watch out.

Nets don’t have much. I liked Powell though. Really raw but he just moves different. Nice smooth form there. Willl need plenty of time but something is there.

A must lose game. What a pathetic season.

2-0 with Hardy as a starter. Maybe it is a tanking problem to play him. Wink

I don´ think catching the Nets is a realistic goal either. 7th odds has to be the aim. Stay ahead of Grizzlies/Clippers and the Hornets are the true enemy. Pelicans going on a real heater during Tankathon season might get them to 6th.

IF they somehow manage to lose both games to the Jazz, then maybe there is a small chance with them. I highly doubt that though. I fully expect Utah to pull a Charlotte on the Mavs in at least one of the games. They simply can´t finish 8th with a top 8 protection. You need 7th odds to be fairly safe. Obviously means if Mavs can create some separation between themselves in 7th and Hornets in 8th (hopefully) that Utah might not mind slipping to 7th.

I´d say it´s basically a toss-up between the Mavs and Hornets for 7th and 8th.

1% 5th odds
5% 6th odds
44% 7th odds
35% 8th odds
14% 9th odds
1% 10th odds

Coop was double-teamed almost all the game and still managed to produce 27/5/5 with 0 TOV.

And honestly I don't really care that much about winning or losing games, I just love watching Cooper kill it.

The Mavs can't lose them all. Great bounce back game from Flagg. For most of the season he's closed as the lead Guard in crunch time. Every week he looks more and more comfortable. Year 2 Coop might just be ready to compete... Let's make the Mavs great again!

Mavs will lose plenty.  They will be competitive at home...especially if their opponent doesn't bring a good game with them.  Every road game will be an issue.

Last night Utah, Indy and Sacramento all won.  Bad teams win too.  I can't get upset with a win when Cooper and others play really well.    Can't root for a loss every night.
