Andre Drummond’s deal could come out a portion of the Philadelphia 76ers $8 million room mid-level exception.

If they're going to acquire Paul George and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the way I think they might structure both, they might not be able to use more of this exception.

The Sixers thought they had a trade for Andre Drummond back at February's deadline. No surprise the veteran center is now nearing a two-year, $10-plus million deal with Philadelphia, league source confirms. @MikeAScotto first on the terms.

Philly's transactions are going to a bit hard to slot until we see all of them. They have a bunch of different ways to structure things.

Order of operations will go:

Use all of the cap space
Re-sign Maxey
Use the Room Exception
Sign Minimums

2-4 can be done in any order after their cap space is used up.
