Didn't think the Bucks had it in them after watching the first two games. PHX has to be worried at this point.

They still have homecourt advantage.  I'm really not sure what to think at this point.  I really thought the Suns had this in the bag.

Bucks are just so tough. They give you a head start every series but just slowly suffocate the life out of you like a boa constrictor.
When they get going defensively, they are just so tough to beat despite the offensive issues.

-13 in just 19 minutes for Brook Lopez. Giannis at center is the recipe for the turnaround. Pat Connaughton meanwhile +21 in 32 minutes with crucial scores and rebounds down the stretch. All for the bargain price of $5 million per.

My favorite thing in the playoffs has been Pat Connaughton fighting for rebounds.

Any chance that if Connaughton were on the Mavs, we would be crying about how PHX is running P&R to force a switch onto Paul/Booker every possession?

I am not sure that PC can keep that kind of performance for the Bucks to be as successful as they were tonight - OF course their defense pretty much made CP look old

...and that is borderline rigging the game. The game was still on the line at that moment. With three minutes to go and Booker sittting on 40 points, Booker could have easily hit two threes, iced the game, Phoenix goes up 3-1 and likely wins the title. All because the refs intentionally did not want to give Booker the 6th foul. It literally could have been the difference between who becomes NBA champion.

One intentional WRONG CALL, which I think is the definition of match-fixing.  Imagine if a tennis player came out after a match and said: Well I botched the matchpoint on purpose, but then the other player won the match fair and square. Probably a life-time ban for the player.

For real. It's a good thing Phoenix lost because that play could have been a turning point if they had pulled it out.

Always liked Connaughton. He brings it and makes crucial plays at key points in the game. Good rebounder for a guard.  The dude was a hell of a baseball player as well.   I know Portland probably wishes they had him back.

Great game and if the Bucks win the championship that block will be legendary.   Just incredible to see how you can defend the pick and role and make it back to the rim and stop a 7 foot monster from completing his slam.

I keep thinking the Suns are better.  They just get really good shots, but the Bucks pulled it out last night.    Jrue and Paul were really bad on offense last night, but Jrue is still excellent on defense.  The key to the series may be who plays better in the final few games.

He is only a reserve right now, but I have been really impressed by Cam Johnson.  Just one of the guys who when he gets an open shot, I expect it to go in.   It will be interesting to see what happens to Cam Payne.  Maybe he can get more money, but PHX could be the best spot for him.  Especially considering Paul's age and them not having succession plan with a younger point guard.

The Bucks' performance last night taught us that defense still matters. They sure as hell didn't win it with their offense, with Giannis's teammates bricking open shot after open shot in the second half.

I told people Cam Johnson was a good player last season and got laughed at. "Reach pick and a bust." Um, hell, no. Binarily wrong. Another example at how lucky the Suns are to have a fantastic scouting and decision-making department to more than make up for their skinflint owner.

I've been beating the drum for Payne to the Mavs (we could have had him cheap out of our farm program, but nope, we're the Mavs) for the past couple of weeks and it seems people aren't listening.

Somebody like Payne was kind of pointless under the old regime. Sure he´d have been a decent player, but our roster is far from the finished article, so what you do is give Payne minutes and then flip him for a better asset. We didn´t do minutes or assets, so he´d just have been Trey Burke.

Hollinger made top20 FA this season ranked by his new formula. Some interesting results:
- Duncan Robinson is 6th
- Danny Green 8th
- Graham 9th
- DeRozan 12th
- Furnier 16th
- Powell 17th
- Dinwiddie 18th
- THJ 19th

Makes me think the offers may not be there for him and we get him back in the $12-15M range (even lower would be better! $11M beats MLE money!). That would be pretty good IMO.

Just going off his values ( I know this is not what they will sign for), the Mavs could be in range for both Lowry and Derozan with a trade or two.    Get er done!
