Man...Im not going there yet.

Lonzo's shot is falling and you can visibly see that he changed his shot mechanics significantly.  If his 3 shot is sustainable he will be a solid player to have on any team.   The other night I was watching Lonzo...he was playing confidently...like the game was in slow motion for him.   Kid is good.  He came into the league and played it safe and smart...maybe he didnt want to get flashy and cause turnovers.   LaMelo(and kudos to him for not being afraid) came in playing his own style of basketball...and its refreshing.   He is not worried about safe passes or turning the ball over...he has a fun style and he is showing he can produce at the highest level playing his style.

I still think Lonzo is better right now.   I think he can do everything LaMelo can...he just doesnt play that way.

Yeah, maybe. This wasn't a knock on Lonzo. He's made great strides on his shooting and playmaking. I just think LaMelo has a greater upside. You're right about them having different styles though.

Toronto without FVV, Siakam and Anunoby tonight. Playing well though

Portland and Atlanta are playing tonight against Atlanta and Denver. Let's hope Mavs get a tiny bit of breathing room. Next two Mavs games against Miami and Brooklyn are arguably the toughest two of the remaining eight games.

I would like to apologize to the pro-Drummond people; it turns out he really can help the Mavs.

No argument here. They are the toughest two left.  But the Mavs got swept by the Kings, so maybe they aren't.

The play-in games have made for SO MUCH more drama at the end of the season. It is SO good for the NBA and as a fan. They just need to clean up the reffing incompetence.....

That's drama too.

Wrong kind IMO. In the long run it hurts the NBA's product massively. The refs should never be in the spotlight if at all possible.

You cant let people get comfortable and be happy with a real good game of basketball between top athletes.

You have to spoil it with bad refs.

So Schroeder's out, LeBron's ankle is still gimpy and AD isn't all the way back... and they are facing the real possibility of having to do the play-in thing. Is LAL still a finals favorite?
