Steph Curry scored 21 pts in the 1st qtr to pass Wilt Chamberlain as the Warriors all time leading scorer. The record stood for 55 years. Dude is amazing.

Jamal Murray might have a serious injury.  Didnt look good.

Good luck to the Mavs/Grizz/Spurs when they have to play the Warriors in the Play-In Games. All you can do is hope that Steph is ice cold for 1-2 games otherwise you have no shot. Plus I'm sure the NBA would prefer for Golden State to be guaranteed to advance.

Thats bullshit. Been lovin the Nuggets for the past 4,5 years. Made a step further each year, bounced back nicely after TD. Hoping its not too serious and they go far this year.
Although when its all said and done I think Clippers are coming out of the West this year.

Sure looks like Murray tore up his knee. It's hard to picture this being a non-season ending injury the way he was grabbing it but we will see. I am not a doctor but seeing people's reaction it doesn't look good. This is disappointing bc obv he is a great player and the Nuggets were my favorites to go deep. They have depth but Murray is critical to what they do.

Interesting. Makes some sense. Schroder went from underrated a couple of years ago to massively overrated. I could see him getting a big deal. I hope the Knicks get him and not my darling DeRozan.

That stinks for him and the Nuggets organization. I don't know how long that injury is, is that like a full year injury?

Or 2 years if you are KP......

RE: AROUND the NBA: Jamal Murray has torn ACL in left knee - Jason Terry - 04-13-2021

The nugs are so easy to root for. I think everyone would prefer they come out of the west over the LA teams.

So this tanks their playoff hopes this year. He probably doesn’t come back until the end of next season. Jokic is expiring the following year. If whatever we cobble up for a first iteration of Luka’s Team doesn’t work as planned then i think we find a way to form a Luka/Jokic tandem

Next year is huge for them. Porter Jr and Gordon will both need new contracts which for MPj should be a max deal

Why such a cheap dig at our own player from out of nowhere? Seriously? Do you have a personal vendetta against KP? It's stuff like this that is so annoying to read.

KP was ready to return within 13 months after his injury, but the Mavs held him out the rest of the season in a lost year. They said that themselves.

Sheesh.

9-12 months is the usual recovery time for an NBA player for an ACL tear if you wanted a real answer. Could be a bit less, could be more. Depends on the severity of the tear

Whatever dude. There is no cheap dig.

KP played his last game in NYK on Feb 6, 2018.

KP played his first game in DAL on Oct 23, 2019.

So he went 1.71 years between NBA games due to his torn ACL. Yes, I rounded up for simplicity, but it is a simple fact that his torn ACL held him out that long.

Could he have come back sooner? Yeah probably. But he didn't. He was out 1.71 years. A fact. No dig. No need for anyone to be offended.

This is such a bummer.  Hopefully the Nuggs will rally together a la 2011 Mavs and Butler.

I don't really care for other NBA squads.  I care about the Mavs, but still I hate that Denver lost a key guy.  I know I would be sad if we lost our second best player before or during the playoffs.  Oh, that happened last year...

Do you genuinely not see why I called it a cheap dig?

I understand KP was out for 1.71 years after his injury, but to say he required that much time to recover from the injury itself is a blatant misrepresentation of the facts and a stretching of the truth. KP was only out for that long because the Mavs made it so. He could have come back 13 months after his injury  as noted by his 5/5 court work, which is right in line for an ACL recovery timeframe.

You know this. But you choose to make a deriding comment about KP that isn't even true AND bring him up for no reason JUST to make that comment about him. No one is offended here, but lets call an apple an apple.
