Cooper Flagg is becoming a victim of his own success--the "star syndrome".

Still...I think Naji Marshall won my Dirkie.

In seasons in which tanking is desperately needed, I think this award should be renamed "the Mejri."

Voted for Klay since I think his hot shooting stopped us from sinking further in the tank.

I thought there were some really encouraging Flagg jumpers in this game.  For a period of time all we got was drive left for a layup or get to a mid-range around or just inside of the FT Line.  He had a pullup just inside the three point line and another where he split the defenders, got fouled (with no call) and made another long jumper.  If he can expand his intermediate range to consistently hit those long two's, wow.

BUT, maybe the most encouraging shot of all came with 1:32 left in the fourth and Dallas probably needing one more score to ensure the win.  He dribbled up into a three point JUMPER with some impressive elevation.  That shot is basically unstoppable.  The fact that he took it in that moment means he thinks it is in his bag.  If HE thinks he has that shot, who am I to argue.  If he does indeed have that shot, his ceiling is even higher than I hoped.
