Gafford already looking good after AD was traded. At least I´ll pretend that happened after the Kings announcer said we are missing Kyrie and Lively. Kings announcer has already forgotten AD.
I really like to understand why Keon Ellis never played.

Other than Thompson, opposing defenders don’t even fully close out to Maverick shooters. Even just a two step “fake” close out will cause them to the ball and try to drive because they are all scared to shoot from range, and with good reason. You can tell that the entire league has figured this out already. There are at least two defenders within one step of clogging the paint against Dallas at all times.

At this point I´m thinking Hardy must be shagging Kidd´s twin daughters. He´s literally the only player Kidd refuses to play despite a +12.4 on/off this year.

If I had a dollar for every time a Maverick cut when they should stand still, resulting in a pass behind them, I’d have a lot of dollars. It’s like they don’t work on offense at all. That, or the system is a little too much flow and not enough structure.

Kidd went to his tank move. Play Hardy at PG with instructions to pass and drive.
Even after three years I can´t figure out whether Kidd is a really good or a really bad coach. If he´s tanking the game he´s a genius and if he is trying to win the game he is a moron. It´s just that I can´t figure out, which it is.

Even Christie…they just refuse to pull the trigger from deep. I’d say they pass up at least 50% of the decent looks on 3’s they get.

Klay doesn't refuse to shoot from deep...but that's what the Mavs got him for...back when Luka and Kyrie were playing. But the Mavs at least put up 27 3's tonight.
Overall...another crappy loss.
