Free agent center Kevon Looney has agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, sources tell ESPN. Life Sports Agency CEO Todd Ramasar and the Pelicans reached a deal tonight for the three-time NBA champion who departs Golden State after 10 years.

Ok, what are Pels doing? They discovered a nice center in Missy last season. Then they paid unprotected FRP to draft another center with #13. Than they decide to sign Looney. Looney is a nice player imho, but I am not sure about his fit on NO. Perhaps they need his vet leadership?
Btw, wasn't Weaver a guy who was "collecting" a bunch of centers in Detroit in each season?

Yep him and Dumars were the two who decided to go all in on Josh Smith, Andre Drummond, and Greg Monroe!

Just really weird. The way Looney moves is just triggering the Pelicans training staff to ruin him in 2 months.
