Have no idea how we replace him after tonight. I was about to post how bad Klay looked and how the Mavs have to have a serious conversation if he is the right guy for this new team. Then he hit three 3s in a minute. RE: Game 75: Dallas Mavericks (36-38) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-40) - RoyTarpleysGhost - 03-29-2025 Is Kai Jones good enough to trade Gafford? RE: Game 75: Dallas Mavericks (36-38) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-40) - Chicagojk - 03-29-2025 Well the AD game certainly as visually appealing as Luka. Hopefully he starts making more shots. It is tough to see all the clanks. RE: Game 75: Dallas Mavericks (36-38) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-40) - Chicagojk - 03-29-2025 I like passing Dinwiddie and he almost has a triple double. He has been great late. Although he Reid the Kyrie running left handed shot in a big possession and the ball went off the shot clock. Yet another win when some marked it off as a loss before the game. Hopefully we can get Williams under contract (eventually.). Kings lost as well. Looks like it's going to come down to GS or Minnie to keep us in the lottery where we need to be. RE: Game 75: Dallas Mavericks (36-38) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-40) - SwisherPrice - 03-29-2025 Mavs are legit...especially if they get Gafford/Lively back. Bye bye lottery pick, hello 8th seed! And with the way they already matched up well against OKC, they SHOULD be able to push them to at least 6 RE: Game 75: Dallas Mavericks (36-38) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-40) - myconsumerclub - 03-29-2025 be bad ass if we beat okc in 4 games straight to earn some time off RE: Game 75: Dallas Mavericks (36-38) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-40) - myconsumerclub - 03-29-2025 They're about to get Lively and Gafford back so looks like we are going to have a lot better D to play with on the inside. The problem is B Will and Jones have showed that they are able to contribute a lot and they won't be there though Jones contribution might be more at PF behind AD if you have Lively and Gafford back and doing well. B Will might be our best PG at this time with Din looking like he is getting rode harder than he can handle who are we going to play that all important position. The really silly thing is with all that talent around the basket a PG just needs to learn how to feed AD and the other bigs and let them stuff some dunks. That being the case Kidd needs to get the guards to play right and not give them free reign take 3's like crazy and AD needs to learn to be more selective as well. If (and it's a big if) AD&Lively can be healthy they HAVE to trade Gafford for a playmaker. That would be quite the feat to make up 5.5 games this late. No more Bwill (at least for ~ 2 weeks), so that may hurt. If the Mavs are stuck in the play-in, and they are, they will likely beat the Kings or Suns if they have AD and PJ healthy and either Gafford or Lively. So we'd depend on GS or Minnie to beat them so they still had a lottery pick. RE: Game 75: Dallas Mavericks (36-38) vs. Chicago Bulls (33-40) - cow - 03-30-2025 Great win! Gotcha, that fact has been stated in different ways in some places and I forgot that they may lose their lottery position if they make the playoffs via the play-in. Some people insist the play-in is not relevant and the lottery is based on regular season only but I think you may be right in your thought. |
