RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - dirkfansince1998 - 05-16-2023 Cannot make it up. After David Robinson and Tim Duncan the the Spurs get another generational bigmen prospect. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - loki - 05-16-2023 Disgusting RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - cow - 05-16-2023 Of course RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - dirkfansince1998 - 05-16-2023 Pop retirement postponed. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - Mavs2021 - 05-16-2023 LOL. Again. Cavs and Spurs. Always. Ridiculous. They've moved up 5 times more than the next best team the Sixers. Watch the Spurs.. Can't say I told ya so, but I told ya so... RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - dirkfansince1998 - 05-16-2023 Wemby probably happy that he avoided the Hornets. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - ThisIStheYear - 05-16-2023 The Spurs are a lucky as hell franchise. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - Mavs2021 - 05-16-2023 Also worst outcome for us. No Wembanyama center movements. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - BoredAssistant - 05-16-2023 Seems like a good fit for him. His first name is Victor, after all. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - dirkfansince1998 - 05-16-2023 At least we will have one month to come up with all kinds of draft scenarios before the Mavs throw the pick into a trade. So you are saying we have never moved up in the draft, cause there is no rookie called Dumba**. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - omahen - 05-16-2023 First impressions: - no impact on centers, SA doesn't have one to speak off - it will be interesting to watch what Portland does with their pick. OG? Siakam? Or they keep it and finally start a rebuild - Detroit and Houston are the big losers of the draft. They both have a bunch of good but not generational assets. Will they keep the pick or also try to trade it - lets see what Mavs do with the pick RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - DanSchwartzgan - 05-16-2023 Tankathon quickly updated its mock based on the lottery results. Dallas gets Dicked. Yup indeed. Though it could be tricky. We have no 2nd round pick to add to Capela for #10. RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - HoosierDaddyKid - 05-16-2023 Hornets got the 2nd pick. What will MJ do? Bigger bodies with better defense going 4-9. Has been the trend of the last few weeks. (05-16-2023, 07:38 PM)HoosierDaddyKid Wrote: Hornets got the 2nd pick. What will MJ do? Isn´t he trying to sell the team? RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - SwisherPrice - 05-16-2023 I'm happy with keeping the 10th pick! But Wemby to the Spurs will be tough...at least better than the Rockets I guess. Now let's see what a re-signed Powell and Kleber can do against Wemby RE: 2023 DRAFT: June 22 - Mavs2021 - 05-16-2023 IF Cuban was smart, the #1 reason he would not trade that pick immediately, is that he´d recognize under no circumstances should he be the judge on how the new CBA effects the value of draft (lottery) picks in trades. I assume it goes up significantly due to the luxury tax rules and general imposed restrictions on higher-payrolled teams. So the last thing I want is Cuban, the hater of young players, to define what such a draft lottery pick should be worth for a veteran. Maybe Lindsey is able to convince them to sit on the pick for at least six months. |
