Memphis off a tough game last night in a win against Houston.
Last year Memphis really struggled against Dallas while appearing to have no trouble scoring against anyone else.
Desmond Bane has had two rough shooting nights to start the season. The smart money has him playing well tonight as he seems to take the pass by Dallas in the 2020 draft more personable than other teams.

Ja Morant is the heart beat of Memphis. I'm not sure what Luka is yet--heartbeat, brains, brawn, a complete package, a future top 5 player--because I don't think he knows...or has decided yet: for the NBA. I think when he does he will either plateau, or elevate any team or player to heights they could never achieve without him. He does that now, some, but I'm waiting for the next gear in his motor...and it isn't just scoring.

I have seen plenty of great Luka performances. I think this is the best quarter he has ever played for the Mavs.
