give gafford starter minutes and he would be great. although I hope lively will be back for before June 6, gafford getting 35+ minutes with random guys backing him up at C should be enough for the Celtics who are rather weak in the paint.

I think it is the opposite. Gafford struggled because he had to play more minutes. Cannot play as hard on both ends. Cannot risk foul trouble. Cannot sprint up and down the floor on every single possession.

Thank god for this win if only for the reason that Edwards dunk will soon be forgotten. Minny wins and that dunk gets immortalized, we will never hear the end of it until the next game, probably till end of the series

I think Gafford and lively (with maxi) is the perfect pairing. lively really moves the needle but Gafford uses his force to never give the other team a break. I think it helps Lively too. The constant force wears on you. Gafford by himself would be limited. But he is I. The perfect spot
