I don't care if they win or lost this game, but I like that they're trying. This is about the point in the usual Mavs summer league game when they pack it in and start stat padding.

Usually I´d be WTF "he slammed a hole into the wall with his brother´s head", but that´s probably the type of resilience you need to make it to the NBA at 5´10 and Nembhard will make it.

Kelly almost had a crazy steal.

He had to show out for his brother sitting courtside.

sure glad I told the Mavericks to go get Nembhard

I don't think Summer League games rise to dirkie level, but if there was one I think Nembhard deserves it.

Flagg a close 2nd despite the really shit shooting night. Kelly, Hall, McGlothan chasing up behind the podium.

RE: Summer League Game 1: 7pm CST on ESPN - KillerLeft - 07-10-2025

Flagg did everything pretty well tonight except shoot. I could've used a little bit more security on that rebound, too, so the Lakers wouldn't get another chance.

Bronny for the win? Came up snake eyes.

At least he hit the rim. Lol.

That female ref was great as Vasquez in Aliens.

Me, too. Between that and FGump telling them to win the lottery and draft Cooper Flagg, this community has had a very positive influence on the team this off-season.

I love Coopers first answer was "this was not up to his standard" in regards to his play.

Dude knows how to interview.

Just one Summer League game, but Cooper doesn't look like the savior of the team. He'll have better games, and worse games.

RE: Summer League Game 1: 7pm CST on ESPN - HoosierDaddyKid - 07-10-2025

Flagg 5-21 from the field. Yikes.

Fun game. Loved how they are putting cooper in uncomfortable positions. It will only help. Summer league is when you do that. I can’t believe we have him. Wow

Not everyone can be Nembhard.

To be honest, he looked a little better than I expected. I'm not worried about the shooting. That was a metric ton of constant ball pressure he faced tonight. Probably more than he will see in the NBA, at least until the games start to matter, and he handled it fairly well. Lots of fouls drawn, not a single turnover, I don't think.

Which one is worse, Wemby 2-13 debut game or Zion Williamsons' first summer league where he was so fat he caused an earthquake mid-game and cut the game short?

I was going to say it’s not a good look that Ajinca didn’t see the floor but just saw this.

Ajinca (groin) is out for Thursday's Summer League game against the Lakers, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
