He just couldn’t recover from his injury.

Len Bias died from a drug overdose. He wasn't injured, or is this some type of sarcasm or joke?

I think the crack cocaine injured his heart.

Len Bias….man, what could have been. He had skills like Jordan but who knows how he would have developed. Would have had at least 2 or 3 years with a mostly healthy but aging Bird.

Jaquez Jr has no business playing summer league games. On a completly different level compared to the other players on the floor. Is this a new trend? Heat aren't the only team with proven NBA rotation players on their roster.

Donovan Clingan with a pretty bad 1st game. 1-8 from the field, 4 points, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks, but also 5 fouls and an eye-watering -16.

Will we ever see Dumont without a suit? Looks like he‘s melting.

Glad Jaden was there.  I was wondering if he would be missing in action this summer.  Good that he is there.   Not playing summer league, but I wonder if he will also get some workouts with the team while in Vegas.   I hope he stays in Dallas again for most of the summer.

I really wonder how Dumont is as a hang?  Does he command respect or is he sort of awkward?  You are right, no many people in that arena in a sports coat.    Hopefully he is not the regular owner who jumps in (after initial success) and then thinks he knows everything.   "Liston Nico, I have been watching film and I think Russell Westbrook would be perfect off the bench for us"

tough to take much away from summer league, but Sarr appears pretty far off...especially on offense. It may be a tough look as he struggles to score. Could really impact his confidence. On the other hand, Sheppard looks great.

Orlando Robinson looks like he could be more useful than Dwight Powell as the 3rd Center on the team. He is undersized for the Center position too, but has more skills and BBIQ... probably because he doesn't get hit in the head as often. Tongue

@MikeAScotto
Atlanta Hawks rookie Nikola Durisic suffered a left foot fracture, team says.

Just looked at the Rockets summer league roster. They have former G-league Mavs Mike Miles and Trevor Keels on their team. Neither have played in summer league yet.

I really thought Miles had a chance to develop into an NBA player. He was signed for a two way roster spot last year but lost it prior to the season and had a pretty forgettable G-league season. Keels was a second rounder by the Knicks in the Jaden Hardy draft. Last year he was on a two way with Detroit, I believe. He may be out of the league next year. Sometimes it comes at you quick.

Yeah I'm surprised at Keels already being on the outside looking in. I actually really liked him on Duke.

Bostons Baylor schiermann is going to be good.

Pure stroke and can even pass a bit.

If you have the time you have to turn on the Washington vs Blazers game on right now.

Alex Sarr is performing a masterclass on building brick houses. 0-15 in 28 minutes so far.

Based on some scouting reports, this is why this draft class was considered so bad. Sarr has athletic predispositions and his defense was good. But he is extremely raw offensively. In a normal draft class, he wouldn't be close to top picks.

Antoine Walker shot selection from an even worse shooter. Have no clue why he isn't at least trying to roll to the rim. Never seen a star player (or top prospect) that tries to avoid contact in the paint as much as Sarr. Makes KP look like prime Shaq.

...and if Cuban still had full control last summer, we´d have no Lively and about the 20th pick in this shitty draft class. Dodgy

Lester should have given Cuban the speech 13 years ago...

probably a lottery pick this year rather than a 20th pick, doesn't make much difference though. we got screwed by NY the past a few years (the KP trade, the Brunson departure) but the tank job late last season redeemed it in some way.

Allergic to the paint is a perfect description for Sarr.

He has all the tools and literally could jump over everyone if he wanted to but he settles for contested jumpers because he's trying to become the next KD instead of the next Amare Stoudemire.
