Mavs can't buy a bucket. Luka needs to be more assertive if I can say that as he's the only one consistently scoring so far. Got some good looks that didn't fall. And also a lot of really tough looks that expectedly didn't fall.

Pretty horrific 3rd quarter all things considering. But they are only down 7. And a couple of wide open 3s bouncing the right way the Mavs are ahead in this one.
With how things are going, we're going to need a big quarter from either Luka or Kyrie with at least 1 other guy stepping up (Klay, Naji, Lively, Luka/Kyrie).

Just missing stuff. A few missed wide open threes. A few offensive rebounds ( ok more than a few), bad finishes to quarters, a few breakdowns on defense, not getting a few loose balls, slow starts. The little things, they add up though. You lose more than you win when you lose the battle of little things.

Mavs are mailing it in tonight. No resistance on the boards. Surprising lack of effort so far for a reeling team. Maybe they’re saving it for the 4th quarter.
