Slow start for stars. 5-18 from three. Careless with the ball. And a generous whistle for OKc.
Only down 9. First five minutes of third will be important. Could see a OKc run making the lead 17 or Mavs stabilize a bit.

Luka has shot stepbacks. He's not getting to the rim, probably because of his knee. OKC is getting in the paint. You get in the paint, you get calls and go to the line.

20+ pt second half Kyrie is our only chance to win this game and overcome the refs.

Turnovers and Luka sucking has been the difference in the game. Playoff Luka certainly shows up in the 2nd half and the turnovers are correctable. Mavs still have a good shot. They really need this one. OKC isn’t clicking yet.

Statistically, both teams shooting poorly. Big differences that jump out are rebounding (27-21 OKC) and free throws.
It’s certainly a winnable game, but Dallas will have to shoot better, or figure out how to stop drives in the lane without fouling.
Maybe the calls will even out a bit in the second half.

Modern NBA referees, and their uneven interpretation and application of rules is all so AZZ. It's like there is an epidemic of woke referees infecting the game.
When SGA is initiating contact on a drive, that is not a foul. If they keep giving that as a foul, the opposing team will end up with everyone fouled out.
Gimme the old days of NBA referees. Make Referees Great Again! #MRGA

Jalen Williams making more contact with Luka on that drive than anyone has made with SGA... yet no call given... before Luka passed to Gafford for the dunk. At least Gafford for the +1 though.
