RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 05-23-2025 https://x.com/statmuse/status/1925563802935787709 These guards are the only ones with more 40-point playoff games than Jalen Brunson. RE: AROUND the NBA: - cow - 05-23-2025 Divincenzo just hasn't fit in with the Wolves...at all. Edwards still has some growing up it seems. I really expected him to take the next step. RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 05-23-2025 https://x.com/statmuse/status/1925614100635074755 The Magic were 2nd in team defense this year with 0 all-defensive team selections. Go figure... RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 05-23-2025 This Pacers/Knicks series is dynamic. Pascal Siakam is owning the Knicks tonight, and Brunson is a stone cold killer. Never saw it coming. RE: AROUND the NBA: - DallasMaverick - 05-23-2025 Pascal Siakam, or AD? RE: AROUND the NBA: - cow - 05-23-2025 hahahaha, suck it JB! RE: AROUND the NBA: - SleepingHero - 05-23-2025 I just don't understand how Indiana just seems to keep winning games that they have no business of winning. Still, I hope they beat the Knicks and that obnoxious fanbase. RE: AROUND the NBA: - ThisIStheYear - 05-23-2025 Carlisle is an exceptional coach. Good for him. It’s a shame Luka and he couldn’t keep it together. They would have set offensive records and possibly won a title. Carlisle is awesome. Halliburton is awesome. Siakam is awesome. Turner is awesome. They have a bunch of great role players. Maybe you are just underestimating them? RE: AROUND the NBA: - Chicagojk - 05-24-2025 What a fun series. I have found myself rooting for the Pacers. I thought I would be rooting for the Knicks. I have certainly been wrong about the Pacers. Thought they were a good team, but not a contender. If I take my biases out and just watch them, they look like a championship team. Major props to them. As a fan of basketball, I hope the Knicks make this a series. The basketball is fun. IMO, the Knicks are too Jalen dependent. He is great/awesome, but it just appears that strategy just isn't enough when everything is being run through Jalen. Last night was another frustrating KAT peformance with the coach going away from him late in the game. That can't happen when he is making 50 million a year. He is such a frustrating player. Some incredible play wth some head scratching play. RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 05-24-2025 I agree about everything runs through Brunson. He's made himself a great player, but his lack of size and the fact teams are putting him in P&R's to target him on defense trying to wear him out. Bridges is a tad overrated in my opinion. He's a good defender, but really an inconsistent offensive player. OG is similar. KAT commits too many foolish fouls that take him out the game, physically and mentally. I just think your best player should have more size than a 6 ft tall PG. One of my favorite players on the Pacers is Andrew Nembhard. He makes very few mistakes, is a good defender, passer, and scorer, and is a Swiss army knife for them. Indy won the 1st two in Cleveland, then got blew out at home in game 3. RE: AROUND the NBA: - Ghost of Podkolzin - 05-24-2025 (05-23-2025, 09:32 PM)DallasMaverick Wrote: Pascal Siakam, or AD? RE: AROUND the NBA: - cow - 05-25-2025 Suck it, JB! RE: AROUND the NBA: - cow - 05-25-2025 Suck it, Rick! RE: AROUND the NBA: - Chicagojk - 05-26-2025 I am glad the Knicks won. These games have been fantastic and really shouldn't be 3-0. So the Knicks stole one, but you can make the case Indy stole the first two. KAT was awesome and stepped up big time. As much as the debate is everyone plays the same way, I would really like to see more teams copy the Pacers playbook. fast movement, great ball movement and just hard cuts all the time. I find it very enjoyable. RE: AROUND the NBA: - Winter - 05-26-2025 (05-26-2025, 08:36 AM)Chicagojk Wrote: I am glad the Knicks won. These games have been fantastic and really shouldn't be 3-0. Regarding the Pacers, I can't remember a playoff team that cared so little starting their offense in the paint. It must be strange for opponents. |
