I get this take. But it doesn’t seem to me like an NBA or union issue. It seems like an issue for the local police. I’m no fan of President Trump. But if he punched Poole in the face like that, half that town would want him behind bars. (The other half would be rioting in the street.)

Whats sad about all this is...there are people in communities that seriously have to deal with serious drama on a regular basis. People that have neighbors that lie steal and rob them or their belongings and have to fight for their existence because of lack of confidence is justice. Whats more concerning...is there are people that lead people into drama but live in suburbs.
Having to physically put yourself at risk of harm is no good existence. I dont care if youre paid 20M a year to play bball...you shouldnt have to "accept a kick to the grapes" because its a war to you. Its Basketball...not a war. Condoning war in any environment that is civil is beyond cowardly.

As soon as the people in charge of the rules and enforcement of them stop condoning these actions and the media stops writing and lauding them calling them and their actions smart play I would have no problem employing someone that protects our guys from such players.
