RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - dirkfansince1998 - 03-07-2024 I guess ruining the starting five works if you don't plan to give them more than five minutes early in the 1st/3rd quarter. Exum/Kleber/Lively with good minutes off the bench. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - Chicagojk - 03-07-2024 If his body can take it, Exum needs really good bench minutes. He provides a little craziness this team desperately needs. Can his body handle it? I still feel Lively, green and Exum should provide energy and positive plays. PJ too. It is weird how it just hasn’t the last two weeks RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - dirkfansince1998 - 03-07-2024 (03-07-2024, 09:12 PM)Chicagojk Wrote: If his body can take it, Exum needs really good bench minutes. He provides a little craziness this team desperately needs. Can his body handle it? I think that is the main problem with Exum and Kleber. When they are healthy it makes a lot of sense to give them more minutes because they are clearly helping the team. But you cannot really do it because they are made out of glass. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - GATA - 03-07-2024 Hell of a quarter. Can’t rest Luka, here. Have to close this out RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - Chicagojk - 03-07-2024 Kyrie is so bad freelancing on defense RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - GATA - 03-07-2024 Horrific coaching. Cannot pull Luka to start the quarter RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - Chicagojk - 03-07-2024 Pj just doesn’t shoot it good enough. If it doesn’t improve, it is not going to work here RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - dirkfansince1998 - 03-07-2024 Three guys in position to prevent easy transition points but all of them are ball watching. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-07-2024 That 10 pt lead evaporated. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - KillerLeft - 03-07-2024 All you have to do to beat the Mavericks is run. At some point in the game, if you keep running, they won’t. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - dirkfansince1998 - 03-07-2024 Not sure what exactly changed. Kyrie used to be fine in the few minutes without Luka but recently it has been a disaster on offense. Cannot consistently create for himself or others. Even Exum is looking more dynamic. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - Chicagojk - 03-07-2024 Without Luka going supernova, this team has nothing. Kyrie has been really disappointing lately. Pj cant shoot, Hardaway is a mess, Josh has disappeared, way too many breakdowns leading to wide open shots. Miami is going to wear them down here and Dallas will break. Will start complaining soon. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - SwisherPrice - 03-07-2024 Kidd reverting back to the Luka/Kyrie 1 on 5 offense. No ball movement at all. Dribble, dribble, dribble - Lively or Gafford screen, if the defense doesn't give up the roll for the lob then it's a Luka or Kyrie ISO shot RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - KillerLeft - 03-07-2024 Absolutely incredible defense by Derek lively to get out to the corner and contest without giving up the blow by and then discouraging the shot in the paint. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - GATA - 03-07-2024 Luka!!! RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - dirkfansince1998 - 03-07-2024 Exum/Kleber/Lively saving the day. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - Chicagojk - 03-07-2024 Welcome back Dante RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - GATA - 03-07-2024 Fifth straight 30 point triple double. Incredible RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - Chicagojk - 03-07-2024 Might be speaking with emotion but Dante and Exum should be in most closing lineups. Not sure with number 5 yet. RE: Game 63: Miami Heat (35-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-28) - Jason Terry - 03-07-2024 Dante Exum is just better than Josh Green and Tim Hardaway in every way |
