Does Grayson Allen REALLY think Luka flopped there??!

Washington is the first player in a Mavs jersey in the Luka era that gives me legit all defense vibes.

This may be the dumbest challenge ever.

It also looked like he got Klebur's arm which is why his shot was short.

What a huge win. They picked up right where they left off going into the break. This team might be fun to watch down the stretch this year.

This is why the addition of Gafford and maxi is so important. In a night Lively looks a little like a rookie, mavs have options. They didn’t have that a few weeks ago.

Green is shooting well. His defense just not there one on one yet. It is impossible to guard Booker but he is not there yet. Everything else he has done is great though.

Some nice defense from PJ.

Too much to ignore.

Looking at Allen's track record that's not suprising. Can't think of a player that has caused more season ending injuries over the last 5-6 years.

Oh man, do I agree. I think he makes some great hustle plays and is definitely rounding into fourth or fifth starter form on offense. Ironically, I think his defense is overrated as hell. I hope he figures it out.

Great D in the fourth. Becoming a trend. Great win.

So I heard the last time we won seven in a row was....

Important win. As usual a slow start with some sloppy play. Cheap fouls. Turnovers. Bad shot selection. Great 3rd quarter. Super hot from 3. Took the lead and never looked back. Defense in the 4th quarter was as good as it gets. Once again with a PJ/Maxi small ball lineup.

Rebounds

Dallas - 41
Suns- 39

PJ is a nice add. More than worth what the Mavs gave up for him. He’s just a good fit. The Mavs are good now.

I think both additions are looking really good right now.

Having Maxi return to form at the same time as the trade has also been great.  We basically added three good players to the rotation simultaneously.  Our depth is exceptional.

How are we not a contender if we keep beating the league's best teams?

Not that it matters but I think it is

Individual

Suns 41
Dallas 39

Team

Suns 51
Dallas 48

Don't think rebounding was a big story in this game. When it mattered most both teams decided to go small.

So far his defense and ability to put the ball on the ground is superior to Grant.  This team really needed that plus the additional size.

Shooting will be his swing skill.  If he can be north of 36% that would be great.
