Last time Dallas made this decision - Steve Nash became an MVP for someone else

So you're telling me the Mavs are finals bound in 2 years? Can't wait.

Sad

Josh Green is Josh Howard?

If he comes anywhere close to Josh Howard, I'd be happy.

Might need to settle for the Brooklyn bridge.

Btw is Cuban the polar opposite of Ainge.  Most fan bases fear Ainge now in trade talks.  Mavs front office is the complete opposite.

If you smoke enough weed like Howard, Green can be anything you want him to be. Big Grin

I don't think Kidd will be calling plays repeatedly for Josh Green in the first halves of games because he knows he can't do anything in the second half and have Luka and Dinwiddie close out in the second half.

Josh Howard....  Mr. First Quarter.

Yep, this and I’m not sure why Green is the comparison to Howard. I would think that is DFS.

Meaning Green/DFS is a better comp, or DFS/Howard?

They are both starters in the same spot (Green isn’t big enough to compare with JHo). Both mostly defensive players. This year DFS is gonna prove to be the scorer that JHo was!!!

Ainge will steal their lunch money but the Knicks are hungry and will double down to eat.

The Brunson haul may become tasteless if they miss out on DM.  Fan bases do that.  We were super excited for the WCF and Wood trade and then Brunson leaves and we forget the success for the most recent fail.  (In hindsight, Mavs never had a chance on Brunson once they blew the contract)

I am actually happy the Mavs prepared for this by getting Dinwiddie and future MIP Bertans, okay just kidding on the later.

I know you are joking....BUT with Bertans fully comfortable in the system and bouncing back from a shooting slump year, I could totally see him having a really positive impact on this team. If the Mavs stand pat, he is one of the ones I am most excited to see (along with SD, JG, & FN who all have potential growth ahead of them).

Nobody fears Ainge. Good FOs just don't trade with him.
