Big swing game to lose today - the Magic have the exact same record as we do, which means it will directly impact our draft position. Go Franz and show us you‘re the true heir to Dirk - and the guy we should have gotten in a Luka trade!

Franz is no Dirk, not even close.

Compare their seasons when they were 23, which is the 4th season of both of their careers, and also look at the way Franz is improving year after year and project that three or four years into the future and it could get really close.

But heir wasn’t meant as being the same player, but the clear cut top player from Germany, who‘s a perennial allstar in the NBA, is humble and hard working and improving each and every year - that’s Franz in my eyes and nobody else comes close.

Dirk's a unicorn personality, no offense to Franz and a little offense to his brother.

What in the world? I understand that the Mavs don't want to win this, but what the freak is Orlando's excuse?

Tankers are on the road tonight. No need to play in the play in. We need a better pick to add a PG that can hold us over till Kyrie is healthy and back to playing like he can.

may have to keep Hardy

Mavs are gonna eff around and find out. Yay, going to the play-in with a team with zero possibility of winning a playoff series.

AD is 3-0 as a mav.

We are such idiots… False pride everywhere. That was a game we had to lose.

The Mavs have found a few players during this challenging season that I believe can supplement our bench next year.

Brandon Williams
Kai Jones
Kessler Edwards

I would absolutely sign these players in the offseason

How soon till Gafford and Lively are healthy? Impressive that we won without PJ in there.

OMG lakers lost last second shot by Chicago and that last part of the game was amazing.

Dirk's not available.  So....I would take Franz.

On the contrary, Dirk's more available than Franz.

I don’t know if it is just new, but the team just looks better with Williams on the floor. His quickness just makes things easier. His finishing at the rim has been good. It is crazy but I have no idea how the Mavs replace his minutes when his games run out.

Hopefully Jones is not hurt too bad. Davis still looks rusty and not very explosive or efficient. It will take time.

I wish Hardy could play like more often. He is the classic player who just feeds off made shots. His whole demeanor changes. He just hasn’t done it as often as he should this year.

Sort of a boring game imo. Upgrading the backcourt needs to be a priority next year…at least one spot.
