Of course very tight between THJ and Burke. I am giving it to the latter, as he only needed 20 minutes for 29 points.

Burke was the more impactful player. Clear winner IMO.

Great shooting from THJ though.

I know the roster lineage with Burke isn’t clear cut, but, the way Burke and THJ have played with Dallas, the Mavs win the NY trade even if you take KP out it. That was an amazingly one sided transaction.

Tim brought the team back when we were not getting a bucket for a full 6 minutes. His points were more valuable.

I went with Tim tonight.

4 assists, 1 turnover, 11/13 shooting? Give me Trey.

Timmy was marvelous despite the 4 TOs. But with Luka already averaging >4, another quartet from THJ really hurts.

Tough call but went with Burke. Only 21 minutes and all that, wow!

THJ was good tonight, but Trey Burke kept the Mavs in the game when they needed it.

While I think both were integral for tonight's win, if Timmy didn't restart the offense after that near 8 minute drought that began late in the 2nd and lasted till the middle of the third, I think there wouldn't have been a dirkie tonight.

For that I gotta give it to THJ. Also I mean he dropped 36 freaking points on 8/13 from 3. Ludicrous stuff. THJ is a top 5 SG when he's feeling himself.

Only strengthens the argument that Burke/Brunson cannibalize each other and that they should look to trade Brunson.

Timmy all the way - he singlehandedly turned it around when we were down in the third and could not buy a bucket. Trey was impressive, but he "just" solidified the lead.

Also - how spoiled are we, that Luka gets a triple double and does not even receive a single vote here? I think this says a lot about his greatness that it feels like an off-night for him to go 20-11-10.

May be because triple double is a worthless stat and 20 pts on 7/20 shooting with 6 turnovers is mortal.
