I give the Dirkie to Maxi!  The starting lineup is playing some great defense.  Good bench work.  I'm happy.

I felt compelled to give it to WCS tonight. I don't know that he had a better game than Luka or Kleber, but OMG, he had a tough job tonight and he stepped up to the challenge. His defense changed the game in the Mavs' favor FOR SURE.

I hope he keeps working this hard.

I’m gonna go for Maxi. HUGE 3 pointer to give us the chance to win outright in regulation and at least get us to OT. Big rebounds in the clutch. Great perimeter defense then the nice help defense on Joker. Led the team in +/-.

Have to also give shout outs to plenty of other guys:

Luka doing Luka things on offense plus very active on defense. I may have bitten my nails a little close when he took that fairly early step back in OT, but the man was practically flawless. Our boy is back in game shape! Let’s just hope that ankle doesn’t start bothering him.

JRich had a very tough assignment in Jamal Murray and made him work hard! Jokic may be Denver’s best player, but I think Murray is the most important at this point. Josh also had a very clutch 3 pointer.

WCS continues to impress in the starting role. Jokic got big numbers especially towards the end, but I thought Willie did a great job on him.

Boban gave us some really nice minutes and helped keep us in it early on.

I went Maxi not so much for the stats (because Luka) but the timely defense and offense.  Had to have it and he delivered.  Luka was clutch along with JRich.

Gotta be Kleber. Honorable mention to Luka with another near quadruple double.

You know, Johnson and Powell were both pretty bad in the first half, but I thought both of them helped quite a bit during their last stretch of time in the 4th.

Luka of course, with a GOAT level performance. What a player. Third best I’ve seen going back to Kareem, Magic, Bird era. He’s even playing respectable D these days. I worry though that he takes so much of the load and plays such a physical game that he’s going to break down. He must be absolutely exhausted tonight.

Really tempted to vote for Boban.

Buuuuuut Maxi for sure the Dirkie. Game winning 3. HUGE defense. HUGE rebounds. Amazing defense.

Also its so hard to not vote for Luka. I mean my gosh. 38 points, 13 assists, 9 rebounds???? 9 points in OT to secure the victory??

Dude is a monster

I find myself watching bench reactions to big moments...especially with no fan reactions to watch.

1- I love the energy this Mavs team has for each other. They are pulling in the same direction

2- THJ, for all the things he may not be, is a GREAT teammate. He is a leader on this team and the way he handled these two games has been fun to see.
