Hes not ever going to panic, no matter what.   I think hes too stubborn to panic, lol.

Green, Terry, and Hinton should have played in this game. If Luka doesn't play tomorrow, we're going to be 2-5.

Because the Bulls without their own 4 players (2 of which were core rotation players for them) just beat them up pretty good.

The Mavs were missing Luka and are still missing KP, and that alone meant that they were going to lose tonight.  But what does it say about the rest of our damn depth if we don't have 2 stars, we can't beat one of the worst teams in the league who are already short handed??

I admit I had my hopes up knowing it was Chicago, and they were missing like 1/3 of their team due to Covid

Willie Cauley Stein fouled out in 11 minutes
Tim Hardaway Jr went 2-12 from the 3 point line

That is 2 guys in our top 8 rotation that we will have to rely on.

Don't get me started on Johnson and the rebounding

We have serious issues, this team is not good

Jackson yes. but Delon wasn't a mistake more so than he got completely shifted from his expected role running the offense to being a release valve for Luka. He had good games early and chemistry with Curry before retreating into a shell not wanting to shoot at all.

Another 26 % from three point line. And we thought it was Luka that was dragging the percentage down Smile

Horrible performance. Yes, it was no Luka, but Brunson jumped in very adequately. No Luka is no excuse for letting LaVine score almost 40 and White 21 in the second half. DFS is stone cold from three this season. Center line is a joke. Shamefull transition offense, they looked like our rec team in those ones. Mavs are now 0-2 against east bottom feeders.

I agree our bottom end of the rotation is absolute trash. This is what happens when you ignore free agency for 2 years chasing super stars that do not want to come to Dallas.

Cuban is repeating the false hope he had when he had Dirk.

I hope that this team had the same "must win game" attitude every night as you

I agree Delon also rebounded and was a good secondary ball handler. He was a bigger factor that guys realize. We really have not replaced his skillset.

I pointed this out before that we did not replace the guys we lost in terms of their skillset. We lost Curry's shooting and but gained Richardson defense. However, we did not replace Curry's scoring. I use that as an example so hopefully that makes sense.

THJ is such a negative. He is everything wrong with this roster make-up. A one-dimensional specialist who can't do anything else if his shot isn't falling

Mavs

19-27

Bulls

27-30

Mavs make all there free throws, we would of went OT or went down to the last shot.

and just imagine if we could box out and secure a board after forcing a miss? we didn't do ourselves any favors with the midget lineups.

I dont know why we cant mix in some size/higher motor players. Our starters continually get mopped up because we're always giving up size! SMH

JRich came here to replace him. He's got to be traded by the TDL.

On the plus side his red flags should be enough to scare the MBT from offering him another contract.  Too bad that's coming at the cost of his trade value.

Speaking of negative trade value, we'd need to something horrible to get off of Powell.

Now that I think about it, your right. Even in games where we didn't have KP or Luka, it was usually one of Brunson, Curry or Wright that fill in the needed stats.

Anyone else think that Brunson is a starter.

I always felt he is better as a starter and bringing him in off the bench seems to impact his aggressiveness.

Couldn’t hurt to further experiment and see if he and Luka can build some good chemistry. Brunson can create primarily for himself, but we really need a 2nd creator on the floor at times due to the predictability we display.

Would have to get rid of THJ (not that that is a major problem to argue against) so the lineup isn’t even smaller.

Hopefully he starts for whoever we trade him to.

Where was all the THJ bashing when he was the only one that showed up vs the Hornets? It´s not like Richardson was any better as a shot creator or playmaker.
Today we saw what happens when THJ is the 1st or 2nd option on offense. That´s not what the Mavs want him to be. He had a bad game but he was basically forced to carry a bigger load today? Who else should have done it?
Burke? Was just as bad.
DFS? Cannot create a shot for himself.
The bigman? Cannot create for themself.
That leaves Brunson who had a good game but struggled in the 4th quarter and Richardson who was just as bad on offense.

After this abysmal rebounding performance, I'm starting to think the most indispensable thing about Luka for the Mavs is his rebounding! Not so much his shooting or play making.

I think you know how some of us feel.  Every player (other than Luka, KP) and every draft pick should be available on a daily basis for potential impact talent.
