Whiteside averaged 15.5/13.5 on 64.4% TS and lead the league in blocks (2.9). He was rewarded with a minimum deal from the Kings because no contender was willing to sign him.
Gobert averaged 15.1/13.5 on 69.9% TS. Only 2blks per game. He signed a max deal this summer.
Maybe just maybe GMs around the league see the same thing that Kamm tried to explain more than once. To sum it up. Gobert is the best defender of the last 3-5 years. Whiteside stuffs the boxscore and isn´t helping (sometimes even hurting) his team.
