Information
Odds to win the West in 2021:

1) Lakers: +275
2) Clippers: +375
3) Warriors: +400
4) Nuggets: +1200
5) Rockets: +1200
6) Mavericks: +1400
7) Trail Blazers: +1800
8) Jazz: +2500
9) Pelicans: +2500
10) Suns: +3300
11) Thunder: +4000
12) Grizzlies: +5000
13) Kings: +12500
14) Spurs: +12500
15) Timberwolves: +12500

What do you think? Does this look right? Mavs as 6 seed, fighting for 4 seed?

I think it's a slap to the Mavs that the Rockets are higher, given their current issues.

Hahaha, TOTAL fail on my part. Left off Clips and Warriors by accident, was looking at the list wrong!

That’s about right, imo. They’ve definitely got the right 3 teams at the top of the list, and Denver and Houston seem to be the Mavs’ direct competition.

I think Nuggets will be much better. Houston might be ok in regular season but has no serious chance in playoffs. I would be careful with Warriors. When healthy, they are great. But they are getting old and injury prone. I think Mavs are ok. Realistically, they can't really drastically improve this offseason.

From the teams below. Hyped up Pelicans are too high imo, while Jazz are way too low. Fully healthy they should be at least on par with Mavs.

I think a lot depends on the offseason cause right now if all teams were healthy and stayed relatively the same (and all played as well as they did last season) there could honestly be a fight of pretty much equal teams from 1-7 with the 7th being the Suns not Pelicans. Definitely don't think the Lakers are that clear cut the best team at all.

Josh Green is a top 5 Mavs player...

It is hard for me to see the Warriors being elite ever again until they completely retool. Maybe Steph will prove me wrong.

It probably depends on what you mean by “elite.” I don’t think they’ll ever be as good as the best version with Durant, but I can see them getting back to contender status. Gonna be hard without prime Draymond and Iggy though.

I would assume they’ll be better than Dallas next season.
