I mean at that point just wait exactly one more month and start the new season. But that just makes too much sense...
Its quite clear why the NBA is pushing so hard and it all has to do with $$$. Not knocking it because hey they're a business, but to basically choose to restart the season in August, and push back the next however many seasons to December (and leaving what like 10 weeks of the offseason if they end in October??) seems radical to save this single post-season.
