It's one thing to have Russell Westbrook or John Wall or Chandler Parsons on a max deal.  Guys that significantly underplay their massive contracts.  I'd maybe even throw Porzingis in that pot.

But paying Kyrie a max contract is only a bad deal if he gets injured, or his performance falls off a cliff.  He's just a really good player, absolutely worth the money.
