Reggie and Maxi will be shut down soon.

Killer turnover by Hardaway when he came back in.

He did get cold.  Mavs don’t have many options though.  Love how he doesn’t lose confidence though.  Great signs.

Some really nice passes too.  Not great on defense but not a disaster either.  In time, he is going to be a problem playing off Luka and hopefully Kyrie.  They will need to let him spread his wings though.

David Roddy owns these guys.

The playing time he's getting will be beneficial. Needs to learn to balance getting his teammates involved and when to get his. That's a fine balance.

Let’s get Hardaway out.  He looks bad out there and we don’t need another injured player.  Why isn’t our other g league player here?

Memphis is very impressive with who they have outside of their top 2 players.  And they definitely have a type with physically strong, skilled players. I wish the Mavs were as philosophically sound when building a roster.

Well they fought for a bit but the ending was never in doubt.  It again shows how limited this roster is.  Just a terrible building of a roster.  Luka does his best to hide it but man they have cornered the market in limited semi highly paid veterans.

Our bigs are useless...all of em. Kleber and Powell zero leadership on the court too. Both have been here for years and get plenty of playing time but they're just happy to be guys along for the ride. Kleber needs to the defensive leader, quarterbacking the defense now that DFS is gone and he should be the most familiar with the system.

It is not always pretty but Green has been one of the bright spots tonight.  It is hard to get a lot of time with the ball playing with tow great guards, but they really need to let Green grow and let him have the ball more.  It may be rough at times but it is the best for long term.

Sweeney having a nice laugh on the bench. Get rid of all these MFs.

A 6´3 and 5´11 guard are our leading rebounders tonight. These frontcourt players are truly depressing. We can´t even find a single 7´0 with legs, vertical and a motor to grab 10 rebounds. Cry

McGee doesn’t even get playing time in blowout.  Best seats in the arena!

Starters:

THJ/Bullock/Powell 5/19, 2/11 from three, 0/0 from FT line

Hardy/Green 19/40, 8/21 from three, 5/6 from FT line

Bench:

Kleber/Bertans 1/9, 0/7 from three, 1/2 from FT line

....and people complain the young pups are not ready. Undecided

I don't even think JaVale is as bad as we think. This is just a terrible team to play for if you're a big man. The Mavs could have Kevon Looney or Zubac and wouldn't know what to do with them. Pretty sure either of them would land in the doghouse since they can't run around and crash to the rim like Powell or shoot threes like Kleber.

Really nice game from Green.  He is a winning player and should be a role fit as we try to build our roster into a contender.  I don’t think we can use him as a guy who doesn’t touch the ball often.  He should be a guy who fills that stat sheet and does a lot of little things that help teams win.  Really good 5th or maybe 4th starter.

Wright had a good first half, but his lack of a shot is why he is probably a fringe NBA player.  He does some nice things on the floor but teams don’t need to worry about him outside.

best thing I see from this game is the FO finally realized it is better to tank this season and get revamped for next rather than fight for a play-in spot and get punched at the hands of wolves or lakers. continue the good job and we will get our pick back probably.
