First of three games in four nights. Looks like a tough little stretch.

will be interesting to see the game tonight.   The Kings have been one of the better stories this year but I really have not watched them play.  How we defend Sabonis will be interesting.

I don't know what it is, because I have a healthy respect for Sabonis and and always have, but...he just doesn't scare me the way other great players do. I think Kleber is probably the best matchup for him, but since he's hurt, I feel like Powell or Wood will be fine. They won't shut him down, but they'l be fine.

Looks like Luka is probably out tonight.  Maybe back tomorrow.

Lets see if Jaden has any dog in him.  Sac was the team that traded his rights.

It's how I'd do it.

Rest Luka one more night, then slide him in while Kyrie rests tomorrow, on the second night of a back to back.

I bet their debut together happens in the one after that. The third game in four nights.

EDIT #3:

So when I initially posted Shams said sources told him Luka is planning on making a return to the starting lineup tonight.

Then an hour later he deleted that tweet and put "Luka is feeling pain in his heel during a workout, and now he he isn't expected to play at all tonight."

Now he's deleted both tweets. I feel like Luka is feeling pain, but he's cut from the same cloth as Kobe and if there is a way for him to play he will play. But the Mavs training staff probably would rather let him sit, hence the mixed messaging.

In any case, lets wait and see.

Luka is in and even Shams is breaking the news.

I don't see anything. Did he delete the tweet?

He doesn't have to carry the team on his own shoulders anymore.
