I would be extremely beyond dissapointed if Mavs move would be to move down from ten for Olynik. For a back-up. To save a little money. Mavs need to think big, not how they will save a little money, imho.
Olynik is a very bad defender, can't defend in space. I don't see his fit on Mavs. Bertans and Wood are as good shooters as he is, if this is what we are looking for. None of them is needed by Mavs. I like Olynik as a player, but I don't think he is close to what Mavs need. Even as a back-up. There are easier ways to dump 5 million of cap, even stretching Bertans makes more sense, imho.
Knicks traded #11 last draft for three protected future picks (2015 Milwaukee pick is protected just 1-4) and dumped Kemba. Part of a series of moves which gave them space to sign Brunson. This is imho a well executed trade down.
