That is NOT accurate, and it's easy math using his own numbers.
12 players at 156,438,203
1 MLE - 12,405,000
1 minimum - 2,019,400 (Powell?)
TOTAL 170,860,595 for 14 players which is well under the 172.34M hard cap. Roster slot 15 is left open for emergencies, to sign a buyout, or as a carrot to players working to earn NBA spot.
These numbers do assume Holmes gets his full TK. That possible, and it is about $1.8M. But he might not in which case there is even more room to stay under Apron 1 (which they must).
