Are the Mavs willing to pay the tax? They just spent an entire summer doing their best to reduce the payroll. Not going to happen.
Did tanking break the Warriors? No. Extended their window and allowed them to add assets. Allowed them to develop some of their young guys. Of course not all of them made it but just one player like Poole can make a big difference.
Or go ahead and continue to blame the Knicks for Mavs front office failure. Might get you a job on Cuban´s media team.
