Again, I think that for those who have to live day to day in these organizations, things like showing up to practice are more important than the one-sentence throw aways they become around here. It's understandable. We don't want to know how the sausage gets made, even if we think we do.
And a big reason they wanted Grant is because he was a culture guy.
I still have high hopes for Wood. This is the best environment he'll be a part of. Further, he'll respect Kidd. And while it is purely coincidental, a side benefit of McGee is that he can be a big brother to Wood and went through a lot of turmoil in his 20s, a lot self inflected and some unfair. Wood's going to have his best shot at thriving on and off the court.
