Big opp for Josh Green this year.  I said several times I thought he role here the last few years was either the wrong role for him or he just wasn't ready for that role yet.

He should get more opportunities in Charlotte, but he needs to find ways to be a productive role player.  It should be a good spot for him but at the same time he could be a posiiton the team looks to upgrade if he doesn't take the bull by the horns.  My expectation is he is eventually a bench piece.  How important of a bench piece is TBD.

Ball
Green
Miller
Bridges
Williams

...that's a pretty stout starting lineup.  I hope Josh balls out

Cam Whitmore absolutely detonates on Walker Kessler last night... two times!!

Houston is the new Toronto with all those SF/PF wing studs...

Brooks 6'6" 225lbs 28yo
Tate 6'4" 230lbs 28yo
Eason 6'8" 216lbs 23yo
Thompson 6'7" 209lbs 21yo
Whitmore 6'7" 232lbs 20yo

That's a whole lot of capital and salary for same starting role.  If you could trade for one of those players, who would it be?

I think Houston will be a problem once Reed and their other yutes fully get going.

Feels like they need to cut FVV's and Dillon's minutes, to give Reed, Amen and Whitmore enough minutes at PG and SF to develop.

- Reed/Amen, Jalen/Reed, Amen/Whitmore, Jabari/Eason, Sengun/Aquaman

They definitely need to rebalance their roster.

Backup/Future PG...  I think Reed, Amen, Whitmore, and Green can all give you time at PG, but another true PG is needed
Frontcourt Depth... Eason will obviously be spending most of his minutes at PF.  Sengun/Aquaman/Landale is fine.  IMO they still need a PF/C, someone who could start at both, someone like Maxi.

With 5 players having a lot of redundancy (Brooks, Tate, Eason, Thompson, and Whitmore), I'd use two of them land a PG and PF/C.

Herb Jones will essentially start at center for the Pelicans this season, per @ShamsCharania
