Cause you bring this BS up over and over and you have no evidence to back it up. Teams are bad or good based on the ownership and the people that run the franchise. The Sixers blew up a 2nd round team, went through five years of the process and STILL were back in the 2nd round before the winning culture Mavs (starting from being an NBA champion) won a first round series again. The Thunder tanked for 2-3 years. Now they are better than us. They are younger than us. They have a better GM than us. They have a better coach than us. They have five million draft picks coming up. So? How they not 3-15 after tanking for three years. Oh, cause they have a good GM, good coach and good owner that sets the standard. All this dumb shit about winning culture. You´d think we´d have won five championships because of our amazing winning culture approach. You think the Heat culture would work with Cuban instead of Riley and Kidd instead of Spoelstra.

The only reason we have won two play-off series is that the Suns, Kings, Grizzlies and Hawks didn´t pick Doncic. Otherwise we´d just be at 0.

So the only reason the Mavs have won a play-off series in the last 12 years is the result of a botched tank, not the winning culture BS you peddle.

So many things with this post.

First of all, I really don't think this is a drum I beat all that regularly.  It generally only comes up in response to you, who wants to tank every single year.  You wanted to tank most of the WCF season.  If teams used your criteria to tank, 2/3 of the league would be tanking.  What a great product that would be.

Second, this teams record since 2011 is mostly about FO malpractice.  No reason to think tanking is going to make that big of a difference when your FO is incompetent.

Third, asking a healthy Luka to actively tank early in the season seems like the best way to push him out of here.  I'm a little surprised you haven't chimed in on the trade Luka thread.  We could get tons of assets and tank our asses off.  Your wet dream.
