Man I'd hate to be the next team Green ends up on
That is not going to be pretty.

Yeah, he's not going to let his career end gracefully, I don't think.

Green is always going to ride the line and spill over.  I'm sure Poole got tired of being treated like the little brother and knows he's the future of the organization.  I do think the Green/GSW breakup is going to be messy.  I'd still trade for him.

As great as Wembanyama looks, his height scares the fuck out me.  Though, to be fair, KD's frame kind of scared me too.

You and me both. I’ve pretty much decided that the 6’10”-7’ range with long arms is where you want your “bigs” to be. I’m sure there will be taller outliers who stay healthy enough and can move well enough to have extraordinary, difference making NBA careers of length and substance, but it sure seems like there are more failures with those guys than successes.

If I’m running a team I stay away from guys like that as a general rule, personally. Not that anyone asked, but I would probably also never have a running back on a second contract if I ran an NFL team, and to me there is an overlap in logic there.

He's insanely skilled no matter his height but if I'm in the tank and a draw the second overall pick, I think I'm sleeping easier with Scoot as the consolation prize.  I almost think Wembanyama being such an active shot blocker scares me the most.  I just get visions of LeBron driving into Chet this summer, nothing malicious and just ordinary NBA contact.

Look no further than Kristaps and Holmgren. And Rik Smits's career was shortened by foot injuries. Maybe Wembanyama will be the exception, instead of the rule.   Most string bean body types are injury prone.  KD has to be extra careful not to pop another Achilles.

Man, that guys is gonna be a bust. All the hype in the world isn't gonna stop him from having Yao Ming-like foot issues. The human body also isn't designed to do all that movement at that height. Torn ACLs, ruptured achilles, that guy is gonna be Michael Porter and Zion all over again. Greg Oden is calling his name.
