I mean looking at the photo, I feel it isn't telling the whole story.
Like Jeanie Buss might be worth 500M, but so is each of every sibling of her who owns around 70% or so in the Lakers, so paying the tax is less issue for them than Cuban.
Other rich owners in small markets won't pay that much in tax unless they have a Lebron type of player, those guys treat the team as a busy and this is generally how they build there wealth, by being ruthless sob
