It is quite remarkable even outside of draft capital, Ainge came out well in those trades.
It sucks to lose Mitchell, but he probably picked up an all star in Lauri. We will see about Sexton. Agbaji is a rookie who at least has prototype size and athleticism for a guard.
For Goebert, he wound up with Kessler, who looks great; Vanderbilt, who seems like a guy every team wants: Beasley, who could be moved again; and Beverly, who has already been moved.
The draft capital is probably better with the Timberwolves. But despite the Cavs looking real nice moving forward, it is probably not bad strategy to bet against the Timberwolves and Cavs.
Maybe he sold low on Bogdanovich. Ainge did have a history with Olynyk. Looking at that package though, it is sort of sad we probably couldn't match that without including Green. I wonder if we tried though to get involved?
