Think Quickley (and maybe Hartenstein) has to be "the" target if you are dealing with the Knicks. He might fix the 3rd playmaker void, while also upping the defense by a lot. Could totally see him working very well next to Luka.
There was one rumor that the Mavs/Bucks are interesting in him. Not feeling the Reddish trade, if that is the only guy the Mavs are getting. Quickley impact numbers looking really good, kinda like Josh Green. I would nearly give up a 1st for Quickley/Hartenstein i think.
1st/Quickley/Hartenstein/Reddish for Bullock/McGee
1st in plus minus / 2nd in on/off / 1st in defensive on/off
Quickley is totally dominating Knicks 2 man lineups like Josh Green. But on a higher minutes sample size. Knicks has been 13.7 pts better on defense with Quickley on the floor. Otherwise their defense is collapsing far worse than the Mavs without Green.
He is 23, and showing signs of being capable being on and off the ball next to Brunson. Now ""demoted"" to the bench, because Barrett is back from injury. Doubt he is super happy being a backup. Barret is really the Knicks version of making too much cash to be benched.
Quickley might just be the defensive PG version that would be a great fit on the bench with Spencer or starting with Luka.
